Fits 24 Spline Land Rover Axles - factory fitted on Series 3 1980 onwards but many have been retrofitted to earlier vehicles.

Improves fuel economy when four wheel drive is not required.

Reduces wear on the front axle and drive train.

In my experience it makes the steering lighter around town when front axle is freewheeling.
