Brand new Jaeger Smiths Speedo Gauge Complete with mounting clamp and fittings nuts OEM 231911

Suitable for later Series 1 80" Land Rovers 1949 onwards with 1500 on the speedo face (4.7 ratio diff).

4.88 ratio diffs stopped at axle number 861319 so the 1500 or the 940 speedo should have been fitted to all 4.7 ratio axled cars from 861320 onwards, however this wasn’t the case, it would appear the factory continued to fit the 1575/980 version up to around mid second quarter of 1949
