New in - July

Unlike the UK's weather recently... Things have been heating up in the warehouse here at Emberton Imperial. We have a substantial product update for you this time around. We are currently sat waiting for another rather large delivery of new and exciting parts so lets get cracking on the last months updates so we can start sorting out all the even newer goodies!

First up, early Series one Land rovers were fitted with these fuel sediment bowls, brand new quality reproductions have been sourced at our customers request and are now available as a stock item for all you Series 1 enthusiasts.

 

 

As we all know nothing lasts forever, especially engine hoses. Although not an exciting job, some things need to be kept cool, and some things need to be kept warm (in the UK it's quite often the driver needing to be kept warm!).

Here's a couple of Series 1 & 2 heater hoses recently added to stock.

On a similar track, and found on various Series Land Rovers, Bluecol radiator cap anti-freeze decals.

 

Now, we have found no rhyme, reason or obvious pattern for this but, some vehicles were fitted with a bright red Hi/Low selector knob:

So now we can offer either, depending on the type you are looking to replace, or even just your personal preference. If anyone has any information as to why they were different colours we'd love to hear from you!

Another to add to our extensive range of various control levers and knobs, we also have a brand new PTO selector knob with 7/16 threaded brass insert, part reference 218050 

In our eternal quest to make purchasing parts easier, we have put together wiper arms, blades and adapter sets to try and take some of the confusion out of the various options when it comes to Series trucks!

Starting with Series 1 - Stainless Steel Wiper Arm with spline fitting complete with 9" Blade and locating peg.

Earlier type Series 2 & 2a -  Stainless Steel Wiper Arm, with 20 degree cranked end (Shorter type arm for windscreen mounted wiper motors) complete with Blades and Adapters. 

And then for later 2a & 3 (1967>) there are two different types of wheel box spindles

Series 2a and early Series 3 (1967>) - For "D" profile wheel box spindles - Stainless Steel Wiper Arm with 20-degree cranked ends for bulkhead mounted wiper motors.                                   

Complete with blades and adapters.

And lastly, Land Rover Series 2a & 3 (also 1967>) - For Round wheel box spindles - Longer type Stainless wiper arms with 20-degree cranked ends for bulkhead mounted wiper motors. Complete with Blades and adapters.

Moving on, in stock now, Zenith and Weber Carburettor rebuild kits for 4 cylinder Series 2, 2a & 3.

Again for Series 2, 2a & 3 - 552174 front fuel tank fixing kit, complete set of bushes, nuts, bolts and washers, suitable for all 88", SWB, Lightweight and some 109 (3 Door) Utility/Pickups.

Admittedly, we were a bit more excited about this next item than we possibly should have been, but hey, it's the little things that make all the difference! At long last we now supply the correct thread and length bulkhead vent adjuster knob screws! (Ok, calm down everyone). But seriously, these took a surprising amount of work to make a reality and we are always happy to add another hard to source part to our repertoire.

Found on early series 2a - Land Rover part number 332327.

Once again, we are adding more lighting options to the ever expanding range, this time round its Sparto type indicators, featuring our UK manufactured bulb holders and stainless trims. Available in amber/orange, red or clear for various applications;

For interior lights this month,

Suitable for 90 & 110 Diesels (1985-1990)  - PRC2735 OEM Lucas ignition switches

A couple of Defender 300TDi / TD5 switches,
